Irena Sedlecká (born.1928) "Beau Brummell" resin maquette signed and dated "SEDLECKA / 94" - standing 57cm / 22.4in high, this is the original maquette sculpted and submitted by Sedlecká for the London commission for a life-size statue of Brummell - accepted as the prototype, her completed statue stands in Jermyn Street at the south entrance to the Piccadilly Arcade, Piccadilly, London, where it was unveiled by HRH Prince Michael of Kent on 5 November 2002
