SOLD - octopus cane with carved stag antler handle

A very unusual subject carved in stag antler: the handle modelled as a full octopus with eight long tentacles, one being clasped by a sea creature near the base of the handle, the inside of the handle hollowed out between four of the tentacles - the handle stained to a deep red-brown colour, with a turned slim round collar, and mounted onto a polished brown hardwood shaft finished with a light brown horn ferrule.
