This is a very rare tin made Uke Cane, which is designed to play and copy the sound of a full scale ukulele instrument. The entire cane is made of metal, painted black with a silvered end cap, which opens with a bayonet fitting to reveal a removable section of the shaft, within which is the four string box instrument. It makes a surprisingly large sound, and presumable was originally intended for street muscians or similar
