A Victorian cane with a porcelain handle hand-painted with cherubs on a yellow ground - the handle is formed in two sections, a ball-shaped top and a long sleeve with further hand-painted and gilt decoration, with a small gilt metal collar at the junction between the two sections - the handle is fitted to the ebonised shaft with a plain gilt metal collar and the shaft is finished with a blonde horn ferrule
